I love rainy days, especially when it’s the weekend. (The office where I work is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. And although sometimes work on Saturday is necessary in construction, due to rainy weekdays, Sunday is reserved for rest and worship services.) The air smells so clean and fresh after the rain. My boys (collective word for my kitties) are snoozy purring in their ‘sleepy spots’ in various places in the house where they will likely stay all day. (Well until Beerus smells food or his internal clock says ‘food’. And he is just as picky and grouchy as his namesake when he wakes.) Beyond the purrs the only sounds I can hear are rain on the metal roof and keys clicking as I work. A near perfect day.

Today’s list is finishing the final run through Earth Enchanted’s audiobook manuscript. My goal is to get that uploaded for my narrator today. Then there is finishing up a website design, check ins on potential designs, updates to this site, and then back to rewrites for Claiming Ana (also going into audio soon) which has a pretty new (non-slinky) cover. Busy bee as always but thankful to have this time to work on my own pursuits.
