Welcome Marie-Claude Bourque!
Welcome Marie-Claude Bourque! American Title V finalist.

As I ride the tide of the American Title V contest, sponsored by Romantic Times and Dorchester Publishing, I don’t have much time to think about what we are all after, the actual prize. I am so focused on the day to day promotion and going through each round, that I sometimes forget the winner will soon become a published author. As the rounds go on every month, and more and more contestants are getting eliminated through online voting at the Romantic Times Book Reviews website, someone is getting closer to the ultimate prize.
This is the fifth installment of the American Title contest. Let me introduce you to the past winners, all authors with a successful career.
American Title I winner: Janice Lynn
Janice won with the novel Jane Millionaire. She has now published three more medical romances for Mills and Boon: The Doctor’s Meant-To-Be Marriage, The Heart Surgeon’s Secret Son and The Doctor’s Pregnancy Bombshell.
American Title II winner: Gerri Russel
Gerri won with the novel The Warrior Trainer. She has now published two more novels for Dorchester Publishing: Warrior Lady’s andWarrior’s Bride.
American Title III winner: Jenny Gardiner
Jenny won with the novel Sleeping with Ward Cleaver, which was published Feb. 2008. Sleeping with Ward Cleaver earned a series of great reviews, including this quote from one of my favorite author of books on writing, “Sleeping with Ward Cleaver is hilarious!” –Blake Snyder, screenwriter (Blank Check) and author of the screenwriter’s bible, “Save the Cat”.
American Title IV winner: Helen Scott Taylor
Helen won with the novel The Magic Knot, which was released on January 27th. The Magic Knot has already received many rave reviews and has just been named book of the week by LASR readers.
